  2. Hodge, I agree with Ben and think believe your cross is a Jacob Leser Type 3 with a matching case. Regards, Graham

Rudolph Singule EK1, a speacial piece

Amiklic1, Great information and collection. The engraved EK1 in the case looks like a sandcasted Johann Wagner & Söhne. Does it have any makers marks on it? Regards, Graham

    UK medal collection from WW1

This is the Belgian certificate that goes with the Belgian Croix de guerre from my last post above. Awarded on the 27th February 1920 to a Canadian soldier in the Canadian field Artillery.

    The Silver War (Wound) Badge

A vertical pin badge as well as an early horizontal pin badge, very nice. What is the date on the certificate?

    My WWI photo

Grimlin13, Thanks. Munich April 1915. They probably are Bavarians then.
  9. JustinG, Thanks for sharing. Some really interesting footage and information.
  10. Sadly I heard that Alder has passed away recently. He had the most incredible Helmet collection I have ever seen. My regards go out to his family for their loss.

  12. Great cases and award document. My award with swords to share, unfortunately lacking a case or award document:

    Any ideas on these?

Christopher, They look like artillery shell casings turned into 'Trench art'. https://www.goldiproductions.com/angloboerwarmuseum/Boer20e_techofwar_pompom.php
