A gift from two members on another forum who dropped it off at my house yesterday.
It is a group photo of "A" Company, 207th (Welsh) Field Ambulance RAMC and has all the names of those pictured which following some research I was able to discover the commanding officer was Major W.M.E. Anderson who later was commander of 195th Airlanding field ambulance RAMC who as part of 6th Airlanding brigade, 6th Airborne division and flew into Normandy on D Day, where he was wounded but refused treatment until he had transported his wounded patients to the main dressing station, later he was involved in the battle of the bulge and then later on he was involved in operation Varsity, the crossing of the Rhine. For his actions in Normandy and in Germany he was awarded the DSO. In the post war period he was commander of 2nd medical light commando.
