Hi guys, In the threads about medical headgear, I will present this visor for an medical officer, doctor more likely. In a somewhat different cloth, but I am very happy for it anyway. Maker J. Lettel, Hannover, in Gary Wilkins book mentioned as not yet confirmed maker on page 370. ..questions or other pictures..?..just ask.. cheers, Hans Kristian

I would like to share a seldom encountered cap, as it seems to me that the Forage versions turn up more often. It's a British General Officer's service dress cap dating to mid/late war period, with its correct Kings crown badge and gilt side buttons. Unfortunately it is not named, but is in a fantastic condition and is a great example of a floppy styled cap.

Hi guys, I have this very nice WH medical EM/NCO visor. from the front it really looks right, but unfortunately someone cut out a large portion of the mützenband..???..and why, I do not know...But I am pretty contetnt with this one, as it has a nice shape and is in good condition except for the cut-out. -
Another Luftwaffe medical NCO visor cap

Hello fellas, Here is my "new" LW NCO/EM cap bought from a german collector. He tells me he had this one from the original owners family, the name of the owner should be Wilhelm Lohmeier, born in 1921.he served in italy as a paratrooper medic but he never jumped. Some pics and copies of documents are coming later. I think good about this cap, BUT cannot say that it fulfill all criteria. There is heavy wear on the visor, on the front, and it has certainly been restiched/repaired. Maybe the visor was replaced..?..from the info in Gary Wilkens book it is stated that the inside of the visors from this maker (Hermann Potthoff ("HPC") from Coesfeld) should be green - here it is obviously black. Can I hear any opinion on this visor please..?.. Thanks in advance, Hans Kristian Frontal view: From the side, Eagle; Piping with visible core after moths been to visit.. -
LW officers Visor..help with maker if possible...

Hey guys, I am sure some of you experts can help me with this cap. Nice and very well kept LW visor, a few tracks from the moths, but otherwise sound. Cloth with very short nap, doeskin..?.. Inside the pathetic rest of the celloid wit a few traces of white text; what is to see is the sharp part of a triangle or something at top, below this one a "i" , and below this a "T". It could look a little like the Peküro pictured in Gary Wilkins book at page 364... . (Stirndruckfrei - Deutsches ReichspatenT) Anyway, a very nice cap I believe, nice bullion insignia (not a cheap visor, I suppose..).. Hope you enjoy, Cheers, Hans Kristian
