A nice looking but fake example of the guards mg battalion badge from WWI. These only came on sliders and also these lugged examples have weak details to the reverse when compared with known originals. I tend to keep duff badges as a reminder that I was stupid but also in some cases knowledge changes and what was once bad can sometimes become good.

Knights Cross Tell me it's bad

Saw this and thought I'd toss it out. The "1939" doesn't match examples I've seen. I think it's bad, but I'd thought I'd post it for opinions. Am new to this forum and I like to bird dog items for others. -

The original Dönitz commemorative coin in 999 Silver. This version is used to make a new mold, only one side used. Plaster cast from the above shown Dönitz commemorative coin. Sold as being an original wartime piece ! Seller mentions that the swastika is scratched out, but the original silver coin that was made after 1980 never had a swastika.
