Hello, I have a couple pairs of jackboots that I have bought as WW2 era German. I would like you all to take a look at them and give me your opinions on if they are indeed WW2 German, thank you for your time.

Hello Gadd0030... great looking boots, but I am not liking the bottom of them. I see no indication of any hobnails or heel irons that otherwise may have been present.

They look like a cavalry boot... Officers maybe? Not entirely sure... Closer inspection of these tells me they could bee WW2 era, but not the combat boots worn on the field. More like an officers boot or cavalry boot.

The Russians also had this type of boot... they were called a Sapogi I believe, very similar to your pics. Is there any makers marks on them?
