NFS district 21 (Sketty) raw edge BMB 1941

4 posts in this topic

The other lid I got today, officers? raw edge BMB 1941 for district 21 which is Swansea in South Wales.  Liner is BMB 1940.

Not sure on the rank but officers I think, it appears to have had rank star at one stage which is no missing and two blue bands of differing thickness which hopefully someone will know what rank they are for.

I did not have a BMB raw edge in my collection or a Welsh NFS lid so two birds with one stone so to speak.

Beautiful helmet Jerry, company officer I think. Being blue bands something different that I can't remember what, but Adrian will know.
