Earl of Chester's Cheshire Yeomanry.

Recommended Posts

Picked up just yesterday at the large antiques far at Builth Wells, still in its original frame.  I asked Griff and he thinks, because the senior nco has a prince of Wales arm badge but the junior nco's do not, that it is 3rd Dragoon Guards rather than 10th Hussars.  Seller said it was Denbighshire yeomanry hussars which would have been nice but they do not usually have the lower scroll.  It was very cheap.  In the end it is almost certainly the Earl of Cheshire's Chester Yeomanry and dates to the late 1930's.
