A good Flak example with a nice photo. Flak doesn't seem to rank highly in the collecting world but I think it is unfairly ignored as a lot of the units saw a lot of combat, both against aircraft and ground targets.

Nice Soldbuch! As Kev mentions they do not seem to be on anyone's "must have" lists, however I do like them! Nice if they have both Flak and Ground Combat Badge as you know they have been in action against air and ground targets.

I think I have two that have lists of aircraft shot down.....one Luftwaffe Flak the other Heer.....oh and a Stalingrad Officers's Wehrpaß.....lol just remembered another one....I have a few then....will post in a separate thread.

Very nice soldbuch. I also like Flak soldbücher though it is pretty hard to research them.

Such a list with shot down planes is totally interesting. Took him only a month to get the necessary points. He must have been a crewman on a 150cm Scheinwerfer which entitled him to be awarded the badge.

Oh yes, very nice. The Abschuss list is very rare and interesting ! I have more than a dozen but none with such details.

Can only agree, like such Soldbücher myself, I used to collect FlaK a little while. They are as Kevin said unfairly ignored, their 88 mm and 2 cm were ground breaking as support for the frontline combat troops. Often Flak units became a front line troop themselves. Thanks for sharing, Alberto!
