The only British helmet in my collection , I bought it because it was found in Brussels in 2014 by another collector together with a German infantry NCO visor which I also bought.

What a nice helmet to start with, plenty of use,with a marking to the front. Which I have no clue to what it is.

 Now for your next British helmet:thumbsup:

Indeed morse code for V for Victory, dah dah dah daaaah, as in Beethoven's 5th,  an odd mistake to make.

 

A nice lid but who knows when and why the markings were applied.
