Ribbon bar WW1-WW2

Recommended Posts

Hi! I recently found this ribbon bar in an antiques shop in Noth-West Italy. I think it could be left here by a british officer at the end of the war or, eventually, "captured" by an italian soldier. The ribbon bar, in my opinion, is a war-time exemple because of the MiD mounted on the chaki cloth. I think, for the long career, that the bar belonged to a senior officer that served in italian campaign. It is possible to identify the name of the original owner?

Thank you in advance.
