Was hoping to buy this dagger but would like to know that its 100% authentic before doing so.

In my opinion it looks authentic but the thing that bugs me is that the handle looks almost to good, no dents bruices and it got a strange satin/dull look to it.I

Are there any SS collectors out there that could help me out?

Not sure if we have a dagger specialist on board yet but I've asked a collector friend to join and have a look.

dagger looks ok in my opinion, I cant see any shots of the scabbard though? is it painted or anodized? rare maker mark for sure, like the grip fit and the roman numeral to it! Screw looks a little buggerd up but crossguards dont look to be turned at all. see if you can get shots of the scabbard please

Thanks guys, I got the dagger and are very happy with it + It fits my SS caser perfectly

The screws looks fine and the only thing that looks turned is the top nut

All the best

Bjorn

Hi Bjorn....this is quite the desirable maker for the type collector. Nice to see an anodized scabbard. This producer assembled their daggers all from out sourced parts..from sub contractors. Yet still put together very well and appealing the same as Haco who was a distributor. An oddity to see this maker chosen out of all Blade producers with a chicken logo on it...or could it be a relative strike against the notorious chicken farmer himself Heinrich Himmler? The SA High command was the supreme authority when seeking contracts for SS daggers prior to Rohms demise. Just my thoughts only concerning the Chicken logo  Regards Larry
