Guys,

Since I have visited my German pal I had a wander round the area and checked these two locations from a 1943 local map.

The wild pigs have been active and uprooted fragments of history!

Glad it's of interest!

I find it facinanting that the history is quite literaly just lying there waiting to be rediscovered.

I shall have a proper look in winter as everything is overgrown at the moment and would have been unnoticed less for the Schweinies efforts at getting a few worms!

That said they cause enormous damage to the fields and crops over here as when a large group get stuck in it looks like an area has been mechanically ploughed!

Hello Rich,

I get out with a detector in my own area, but not the same volume of history here.

We have some wild pigs around here as well.
