Would like opinions on the value of my WW 2 Iron Cross

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum to ask the question, but I have an Iron Cross since 1983 and I would like to post photos of it and get opinion as to its fair value for the seller and buyer.   If this is ok, I will post photos.

Thank you very much.

Posted is a photo.  I personally bought this metal in 1983 from a military collector while I was in Belgium and I kept it in a drawer for decades.   Please let me know a what might be a fair range for pricing if you are knowledgeable

I believe it is an authentic metal and was sold as such to me in 1983

More information

I believe it is 3 piece constructed. The black part, and the "raised piece" looks separate from the other piece, but I don't know how it is held in place. I don't see any evidence of "soldering" or adhesive.

I looked carefully with a magnifying glass and see no markings on the ring.

The ribbon is UV negative.

A Magnet sticks to the center part of the metal.

Mate, I have no idea which maker, I think it is ok but there is a very good well known fake!

I suggest you try Wehrmacht Awards Forum for an accurate assessment from EK spotters!

Best
