Marinehelferinnen: uniforms and insignias

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm very interesting in all the auxiliar services of the Kriegsmarine, as the Marine helferinen, these ladies held a very important job during the war and are often forgotten by the collectors. Please show here your KM female pieces or pictures.

Some day I would like to have a complete Marinehelpherinnen uniform, but is not easy. I have this set from a woman, personal-ausweis with picture, ID tag, ... a rare cufftitle in green. I also have two nice caps.

Nick, sorry but is almost impossible to know who could be unless you find a complete lot as mine, with name and ID papers.

Eduardo, maybe sorry for this question, but as a new one to uniforms how do recognize this as a Marinehelferinnen M43 Feldmütze? Due the use of the Golden KM Eagle on it?

Bart, MH caps didn't wear cocarde, only eagle, and MH M43 were made with Red Cross grey cloth and not feldgrau or blue.

This is my other Helferinnen set, the documents and`papers from a naval nurse that was also asigned to a MH unit. Also I bought a nurse uniform for a display, if I'll have space any time.

Hello Herbert, first time that I see that kind of tunic or cap, even on period pictures, IMO not a MH uniform.

Herbert, this tunic is not a female tunic by the buttoned way and is a strange model with no breast pockets, hip inside pockets and front belt hook holes, the cap is not a German cap IMO, I don't like the breast eagle stitching, ... IMO not original MH tunic.

This picture is from my collection. A marinehelferin with black cufftitle. I hope this can be of any use in your helferin database. :)

Best regards,

André
