Worn Juncker FJ badge ...

Recommended Posts

Hi chaps,

I've always wanted to own a FJ badge to fit it next to my 1957 LW collection. And for the right price this old bird came along.
It has been identified as unmarked Juncker, which - in view of the condition - must have seen at least some action.

When receiving the badge, I gently cleaned it with some Q-tips to remove the dirt but no more then that.
Still its my one and only wartime FJ, and it do like it :P

Grtz,
Mathijs

Some shots of the hardware, possibly the pin has been repaired ( or replaced ) ?

I assume that at one stage the eagle became loose on the wreath which two drops of glue apparently solved :)

Thanks for looking ... I know its not the prettiest FJ ever, but I do like it.

Nice late war full zinc variant.
My first FJ was also a worn + repaired Juncker, but later I "upgraded" it to a mintier one.

Hi Mathijs,

it is a nice late war Fallschirmschützenabzeichen of Juncker. As Hans stated,a full zinc variant.I think in Tom`s book it is Typ H.The pin has imo not a replacement, only a repair.Still a nice badge, with a typical crack on the wreath.Often to found on the late war Juncker badges.I have had this late war variant also in my collection.

@ Hans.Your very early Juncker J2 it is really a beauty. And with all talons intact very hard to find.Congrats and thanks for showing!

Joachim
