WWI mkI relic Tommy helmet

Recommended Posts

As we don't have a section for WWI allied items I thought it would be OK to put this here. I bought it for the wife from the states as she has an interest in WWI and wanted one of these. It is pretty rusty with no liner or strap and the markings are no loner visible.

A relic example of either the Brodie or MKI Tommy helmet, missing its liner and strap etc but a genuine period example. It came from the US, so if only it could tell its story?

Regards,

Jerry
