The medal bar of Admiral Werner Fuchs. He was Chief of the Warship Construction Office throughout the War, so was a pretty essential cog in the wheel!

Admiral Fuchs was also awarded:

German Cross in Silver (30.01.1943)

Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross, with swords (30.12.1944)

Also attached are photos of his dagger (not in my collection).

Here is my favourite group in my collection...the medal and ribbon bars of Vizeadmiral Werner Grassmann.

Foreign awards:

- Belgium: Leopold-Order Military Knights Cross, awarded 19.10.1912 to Leutnant zur See Werner Grassmann, S.M.S VICTORIA LOUISE

- Siam: Order of the White Elephant, Knights Cross, awarded 10.8.1915 to Oberleutnant zur See Werner Grassmann, S.M.S. VICTORIA LOUISE

Grassmann was the only Jewish admiral in the Kriegsmarine!

Large grouping to an Austrian, who was a Coastal Artillery Officer during WW2.

These are interesting and beautiful ribbon bars! Do you have more information to the officer or portrait having him wearing these?

Hi Bart,

I have never seen a group like it since, so really glad I bought these when I did.

Unfortunately no other information is available about his career.

Best

Pierce
