After all the beautiful threads of our Moderator Jim W. and reading a bit more to what the Sappers did during WW1, I couldn't resist adding a bar to my own collection of these brave Sappers. In overall nice condition and marked. Also the prices still are acceptable but I've seen some others ending at very high prices! Love the quality these medals have and for a person like me who loves to do research I just am amazed that the British marked their WW1 Medals!

Very nice group Bart, I have a WWI pair for the RWF, my main interest is them, but I can see the appeal of those to the sappers, as you say after Jim's posts it was very inspiring.

Regards, Jerry B.

Interested in all things military with a focus on the war in the Desert and Italy and a particular interest in tropical helmets & uniforms and all insignia.
