Some trade insignia and eagles

Recommended Posts

Stunning, how many do you still need to have in total? How do you store them at home? I currently put everything in plastic boxes.

Thanks Bart. Long way to go and I'm concentrating mainly on my primary interest which is collecting photos. So I pick up a trade patch only now and then.

I keep all my patches in plastic photo holders.

Here is a rarer patch seen in one of my photos. It is the Unterwasserhorcher (Hydrophone) specialty patch which was changed in 1940.

Cheers,

Larry

Larry very nice, your collection is growing in the right way.

Nice picture, see that specialist trade insignia for Unterwasserhorcher in use is very rare.

Very nice portrait showing Fernschreib-Laufbahn patch. I am collecting photos of KM career-trade badges. I do not have a Fernschreiber photo yet.

Here is an update on my KM patches collection. The search goes on.

Cheers,

Larry

Here is an update on my collection. First lot are pre-1940 and are hard to come by.

Top L- R:

Motorenlehrgang III (Motor course III). Kraftfahrer (Motor pool/driver). Verwaltung (Administration).

Bottom row L -R:

Spielmann blue and summer uniform (Drum and Fife corps). Stab patch for the summer uniform. (Staff).

Also added: L - R: Enfernungsmesser mit Unteroffizierlehrgang (Range-Finder with training as NCO).

I have also added two patches most often called as Heer career patches. The same two patches were worn on KM uniforms as well.

Marinewalloberfeldwebel (Navy Fortress Maintainance). Marinefestungspioneeroberfeldwebel (Navy Fortress Engineer).

Cheers,

Larry
