Regiment/Branch identity

Recommended Posts

Hi all, seeking a bit of help if I can. The attached image scanned from a photo are members of my ex-wife's family, unfortunately there is no-one alive who either remembers or knows them :crying:

My question is, does anyone recognise uniform, regiment or branch of service they were in?, no real identifiable indicators for me at least except for the chappy at the top with a peaked hat, on which there appears to be a cap badge, if identifiable I may be able to trace him/them from any regimental history etc.

regards

Sadly the lack of insignia makes it really hard to ID their unit, but I am almost certain they are army and are wearing kitchener blues, so early WWI.  If you have a name for them, it should be possible to narrow down the search perhaps.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the info, no name unfortunately, not even sure which side of her family Mother/Father, the people that may have known are long gone, I could try maiden name and her mothers maiden name and see what happens.

regards
