Hi Kevin,

Thank you for showing us your latest gem on our forum.

What a great outstanding document grouping that really is, I do like every piece of it.

What those men had to go through with those old fashioned slow flying machines is incredible.

Also thank you for the fine description.

The grouping and the reading are a pleasure for one's eyes.

Best regards

Eric-Jan

Kevin

Absoloutly stunning set of documents to a Luftwaffe RKT!

It is always nice to see so many documents from the same man stay together, and this set is certainly 'top shelf'.

Regards Richard.

Thanks for the comments guys and for the extra photos of Bellof and Hackl. These aircraft must of come back from some missions absolutely riddled with bullet holes so how he survived a reported 800+ sorties by wars end is beyond me.

Bellof died on 1st October 1965 in Hamm/Westfalen.

Beautiful group Kevin!!

These NSGr groups are very interesting in my mind based on the relative mix bag of AC they flew.

I have a small group to a DKiG flyer but not to this extent.

Great group thanks for sharing.

Jeremy

A slightly sharper and (I think) better quality image of the Bellof and Leoplod Hackl image posted earlier in the thread.

That's how it was on HH. It went for 11,000 Euros (plus commission which is around 25%). The paperwork was split soon after I believe from the medals although since the auction the EK citations have been reunited with the set plus a few other little pieces, unless HH just didn't bother putting them into the photo.

I think I bought the paperwork from the person who bought the paperwork from the winner of the auction.
