Hi,

I am working on blending different photos.  I had taken this shot while in Munich in 2010.  I had remembered seeing the wartime photo of the Marienplatz.

Thanks for looking.  It was fun and time consuming.

Great picture

I found these on Google.com.   There was not a version using the photo manipulation so I created an adaption.

Much harder the road is now behind a new clock tower. Let me know what you think.

JustinG

Hi Justin,

Nice job you did on both photos, bringing them back in time.

Thanks

Best regards

Great  work  Justin.

I  have  visited  Munich  on  several occasions,  it  really is  a  beautiful  city. It  would  be nice  to  be  able  to  do  a  "Then  and  Now"  on  the  Ehrenmahls  for  the  putsch  martyrs in  the  Koenigsplatz.

Justin:

Hello my friend! I agree with Eric JB and Jim, "great work." Thank you for sharing your images with the Forum, very impressive blend of time.

Best regards,

To Jim W.  :

I will try to search and find imagery of this.  It is very difficult to show buildings that are no longer standing.  You can use a ghost image of it but it does add a measure of difficulty.  If you have shots that could be used, let me know and I would love to try to create an image for all.  :)

Thanks.  Here's another. I have revised and used both the gold and silver zinc shields.

I like how it turned out. Let me know what you think.

Blockade Breaker.

Finding an image for this was probably the hardest.  Typing in several ships names in the google search brought up many ships, several liberty ships and ships or topics that had little to do with my search parameters.   Finally able to find this image.  Wish there was an easier way.

I am 35, never thought of myself as computer illiterate, and yet, I still have a hard time when using search engines to produce from my description, what exactly I am looking for.

Thanks,

JustinG

Great pictures, especially the Then & Now images. How did you get the soft blending in effects to the edges of the 'Then' portions of the images?

Here is a tribute I worked on for the merchant marines and naval powers who kept the lifelines open for Britain.

Thank you for that one Justin.

Best regards
