Really nice Studioportraits, Kevin! Thanks for sharing them. Isn't the last one from a s. Panzer-Abteilung? I recognize his face, I think.

Here are some RKT Panzer Photographs of mine. I have more but I need to search them and scan.

Glad to see so many familiar faces. Marcel, Ive always liked that portrait!

Kevin, thats awesome that you have pics of him while serving in Panzer Regiment 4, which made up most of S.- Pz Abt 507. Very cool.

Great photos, guys!

Here's a postcard sized portrait photo to a member of schwere-Panzer-Abteilung 506 who crewed both Tiger I and Tiger II and was awarded the PAB50 (I also have his Soldbuch):

Thanks for sharing these beautiful Studioportraits. Here a photograph from SS-Panzer-Regiment 1 "Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler". Made in 1943. I really like this photograph, don't know why.

@Panzer Vorwärts!: Thanks for the reply! Indeed, I love photographs which captures Comradery between soldiers. Your studio portrait of the SS Panzer Soldier is a beautiful one. Sadly not sharp, it seems that the left side of the uniform (seen anatomic) is yellow and the right collar tab has been recolored with red?

@Kreta: I just saw the Studioportrait from the Panzer soldat with the M43 Feldmütze (holding in his hands) and also one wearing it, you don't see that much including the StuG soldier with the Schiffchen! You also have many nice

other Studioportraits. Thanks for sharing.

/Bart

Hi Bart-

Thanks! It's actually a rather small colorized photo which was mounted in a cardboard frame (the staples should allow you to help gauge the size) which is part of a group in my collection. In hand the color of the waffenfarbe is definitely a pink-red - it's the scanner that changed the color like that (I don't know why). The photo has taken on a sepia tone that the scanning software removed which in turn affected the other colors... This is why in the scan I posted you're seeing yellow-red and red on the tabs.

Another one from S/Pz.Jag.Abt. 559. This portrait is from his soldbuch  The soldbuch is part from a large grouping. On the other one he is having a meal with his comrades in Russia. He is the guy on the right

Best

Erwin
