I don`t know much about Third Reich rings. I know there are a lot of fakes. Any opinions on this one.

After seeing an original West Wall ring that belongs to a local collector and  from what a few other collectors said after seeing this ring, it has been judged a copy.

Yes, a cast fake of a period existing pattern.

Period ones are die struck from brass and silver plated.

Rather rare ring to find  in original, but a lot of fakes are around.
