Need Help Identifying Helmet

Hi, It looks to be an American civil defence helmet, maybe WW2 or post. Not really my area of collecting, but at least that's a start.

As TinLid said i too would guess it would be a US Civil Defence Helmet, possibly made by McCord Radiator Company of Detroit, Micihgan.

Cheers Mick

Hello I have an original WWII 1939 Brody helmet with an H on the front. I've looked everywhere. Can anyone please tell me what the H stands for. Thanks

What colour and type of paint does it have, smooth shiny green or rough textured khaki or black or what?

It might be a factory helmet,. with H for the company name perhaps or each helmet given a letter to aid id if it was among a load of them in a stores, or?

Hospital is possible though I have not heard of that being used.

Pics might help.

Delaneh, it is best to register on our Forum so you'll be able to post pictures of this helmet and kept updated of replies and many more.. If you post pictures, so specialists can able to see the 'H' and what colors, design etc., and I am sure they will be able to answer you as we've many specialists on board.
