Beautiful veteran group - Max Hansen ( LSSAH )

Recommended Posts

Hi chaps,

As stated, I was able to add quite a few new items to my collection, and I was very keen in acquiring this particular one.

A lovely veteran group belonging to LSSAH Standartenführer Max Hansen ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Hansen).

I haven't had much time to read up on him, however there are some interesting facts & websites on him.

The group consists of full size badges, however also a lovely collection of smashing looking minis and stick-pins.

Sadly, according to vendor, the KC with oaks have been lost in time ( whereabouts unknown ). Maybe one day ....

Thanks for looking,

Mathijs

First up - a boxed DKiG. Both box and cross are quite early ( Max Hansen was awarded the DKiG on 26/12/1941 ).

+ Box - early halbetui with correct / wartime parts made inlay. With metal stud / pin on front side.

+ DKiG - early Deumer / Deschler DKiG with damaged hardware ( some-one applied glue and mismatched the pin )

Still both period match made in heaven - I do love these early Deumer / Deschler crosses !!!

As stated - an early wide pin version by St&L, gold gilding in perfect condition !

And herewith an overview of the other stick-pins ( which came in a lovely cardboard box, with velvet type inlay ).

Believe they must be mixture between wartime and veteran time made .... any input appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Mathijs
