The red document states him allowing to wear the Hungarian War Memory Medal with Swords and Helmet on the Red-White-Green ribbon of the War-Medal.

The green document is a vehicle registration certificate.

The brown document is his draft in Litvinov (Czech Republic) in Jan 1944.

The last document is his Soldbuch. His unit is the Schutzpolizei Battalion Busden, his rank is Revier Oberwachtmeister der Schutzpolizei der Reserve (Staff Sergeant of the Reserve).

Pierce:

Its roughly translates into this.

Lieutenant-Colonel | discharged | of the use at the General Cavalry-Inspector at the transfer into the temporary status of the General Staff Corps and

Lieutenant-Colonel | graded | for Troup-service at the Uhlmann-Rgt. No 13 and keeping in the General staff Corps B.l.Bl. 40 and

Lieutenant-Colonel | transport | to Uhlmann-Rgt. No 13 B.l.Bl. 40 v 1896.

Lieutenant-Colonel | appointed and transport | as Commander of the Uhlmann-Rgt. No 3 B.l.Bl. 45 v 1986.

Colonel | appointed | and the Ramser 30 …

Regards

Guy

After he 'left" (likely a position) (from where is not stated) he was assigned to the Kriegsmarine again (meaning the Kriegsmarine could use him again to fill any other position or so) and put into active service.

But I thought "weder" meant "neither", at least that's what google says.

The man in question retired in 1928 and wasn't active again.

This is how google translator translates this: "After the discharge neither at the disposal of the Kriegsmarine, nor used for active military service."

Sorry at my part, yes, you are right in German it is negative. In my language "weder" is again so I mixed up.

Bart: that German text is written less formal and I would suggest the translation:

After the discharge not placed at the disposal of the Navy nor approved for active military service.

Sorry for delay

First page of a Kreigsmarine Soldbuch. Can someone decipher this text? It may be some sort of engineer or administrative rank.

Thank you

I think it could be Verwaltungsanwärter.

Pierce: It's "Verwaltungsamtmann" which means he is/was a mid-level administrative clerk. Can you provide pictures of the document itself?
